What does this symbol mean

    Hi,

    I got a diagram of a capacitance readout chip like shown below.

    Could anyone please tell me what do those triangles with different numbers inside them mean?

    My guess is that they signify gain stages with the gain as indicated by the number.

    But why the numbers are negative. I think the last three triangles with x2 in them seem to be amplifier stage.

    what's wrong with a gain of -1? it's just an inverting amplifier.

    But like I said, it's just an educated guess.
