what are SRAM Addresses used for?

I know how to use the input/outputs (i think ) but i don't know what the addresses are for. i'd appreciate a push in the right direction


This is my understanding of SRAM input/outputs

i've figured out that (when using sram) I can use the input a 1 into one of he input/outputs when Write enable is low, then turn write enable high and it will out put a 1.

am i correct in this assumption? can anyone give me a link to a website that has a "SRAM tut??"

Google "SRAM tutorial", the first page of results has a few decent links worth reading. I only looked at one page of results and didn't find a "good" beginners tutorial or I would have linked it directly. That doesn't mean it won't help you to search though, it's likely you'll get a little help from each page.
