Hello all. I am new to this forum.

I have a weather station webcam (http://dlkurtz.com/webcam). Currently it is fixed, but a friend suggested I find a way of slowly rotating it to get a more interesting view. Currently my webcam software (Yawcam) takes a snapshot every 30 seconds and I have an automated FTP program updating the webcam site every minute.

The thought for this rotating device is to have the camera mounted on something that moves slowly. Slow enough that each update to the website is different than the last and also so that over time, the entire viewing rotation might be viewed.

I hope this makes sense! anyway, I was looking for suggestions or thoughts on how some of you might tackle this idea. Any input is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    David

Have you considered a camera with its own pan/tilt system?
