motivated 'green statement' and which probably provide very little useful
energy.
Sorry, but the original thread has gone past it's sell by date on my
PC, and I couldnt remember the exact context. Must change the delete

The worst examples are rooftop turbines on homes.
Never seen one here, but since 2004 (?) it's mandatory for all new
houses to have solar water heating, which is almost sensible. Plenty
of the offgrid homes have wind/solarPV, usually a wind genny on a big
stick in the garden
Were these sited in an intelligently chosen location ?
Pretty good indeed. not a mountain for miles. Spain has over 12GW
installed, about the same as the total US, from a very brief read of

Plenty of wind here. Unlike the UK, with the wrong sort of wind
