    1>If current in a coil rises from 1 to 2 A does this induce a back emf in the coil?

    2>Or is it when the current rises from 0 - 2A or decreases from 2 - 0A that the back emf is induced?

    3> Or is the voltage induced each time the current rises/decreases (like from 0A to 0.1A to 0.2A to 0.3A)? [these values are for explanatory purposes only]

    V = L(di/dt)

    for ANY di! (di is change in current)
