Client wants video capture card with the ability to sense motion, start the capture, then email him.

I haven't done video capture since they first came out so dunno what's out there.

It's a remote location (his warehouse) so I guess he wants to monitor cameras from his house.

idears?

tnx,

You sir dont have a clue. You are trying to sell something to him,
while I am not. I am merly pointing out a NEW DVR card that is taking
over the PC market gradually.

If you dont like it, too bad.

PS. thats got to be the worse web "page" I have come across
....sharpvisioncctv ...looks like a 2 year old "tried" to design it ...
in fact they could have done a better job.

Your Video Surveillance link does not work how is anyone going to get info
on your DVR card if you have nothing on your website. The only reason I know
that card is cheap is by the picture on the main page.

Yeah I got a solution for you Crash ..check my site
http://www.bahamassecurity.com

Iview PC Card. Not expensive and you can customize the GUI ...
Does all waht you asked and more ...

You gotta get your driveway fixed. You're lucky you drive a Jeep 'cause if
it ever falls into one of those cracks you can always use the four wheel
drive to get out. :))

he he he ..yeah they just paved it actually ...thats the "walkway"
they are supposed to be working on that next ... I'll have a beach cam
added next week also .. as well as a couple other cameras, ill try to
get one to zoom in on Atlanis Paradise Island as well .. or at least
the other island just off from us ..

1. Get mac computer with Ethernet/USB port
2. Get Security Spy software Securityspy.com)
3. Get camera (ethernet or USB)
4. Depending on number of cameras, you might need an Ethernet or USB
hub
5. If using a USB camera type, you'll need Daystar's camera interface
(1/camera).

done.

We caught the purps on the first night!

We ended up installing a hi res color/bw IR illuminated USB camera which came with software. Popped it in two nights ago, and caught images of the guys trying to break into the storage units out back of the store. The software had software zoom-in so we were even able to make out part of the license plate.

Dunno what brand camera it was...my partner picked it up on the way to the client. It wasn't a cheapo...around 350 bucks.

Client very happy.
