UV fluoro tubes needed for eprom eraser

We have an ancient eprom eraser, and the UV fluoro tubes in it need
replacing. The tubes are 210mm long, not including the pins at each
end, and about 15mm in diameter. The only writing on the tubes is in
Japanese, but they're probably 6-8 watts.

Does anyone know where I can get a couple of these tubes in Melbourne?

Thanks, Peter

Sound very much like the Ango eraser ex Jaycar/Altronics. Both carry the spare
tubes if it is that type.

Haven't been able to find any uv fluoro tubes on either of their web
sites so far. However, given both their crappy search facilities, that
wasn't really a surprise. I don't suppose you have a catalog number?

The Jaycar 2001 cattledog lists the tube as XE-4951 $28. Current Electus
doesn't even list the eraser, nor does Altronics 19th ed.

You might have to ping them an email.
