I may be asking this question in the wrong group, if so please if you know a
better place to post this question I would love to hear from you.

Basically I want to know how these new air purifiers positively charge the
air or the particles in the air then collect them on a negatively charged
surface. I don't want to make my own air purifier per-say but something
similar.

Anyone got any technical resources on the subject? Perhaps even resources
with designs on how to build a demonstration of how this process works?

Actually, the above site addressed only the general workings of a
dehumidifier. Further searches by specifying words such as IONIC,
AIR CLEANER, etc.... produced only advertisement references, but
no explantions.
