USB Monitor Device

Anyone ever use a USB monitor device? More and more of the items I get have USB outputs that I need to Monitor for triggers and such and Windows 10 can only go so far. I have seen them but would prefer a suggestion from a user rather than a spec sheet.

For example I have a device with 2 B-USB connectors as well as video connection etc. One USB is for the touch screen which I can monitor using a Windows 10 system so touching the touchscreen will appear on the Computer Monitor. The other goes from a digital/analog button system to the system that controls it. I would like to be able to monitor that USB output to watch the data streams as well as seeing that if the analog button is used the proper trigger is sent downstream.

That make any sense?
