I'm new to electronics, so please bear with me :)
I have designed a usb charger before, but now i have a type C usb phone, which i want to both charge and use it's audio output at the same time. It would be in a car, but the power regulation part is not a problem, the usb c power delivery is what gets me.
My "plan" is to use only a single usb c to usb c cable into a pcb, which can charge the phone and also has a 3.5mm audio female jack. Can this be done? What controllers do i need for this? Is it possible to charge with >1.5A in this way, or only with 500mAh?
I'm kind of lost in this type c world right now, for simple usb chargers i used a 5V3A dc buck-boost with an usb host controller on d+ and d-, but this seems to be more complex :)
Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance! :)
