    Sir

    I have 230 v UPS system,I need 110v supply .

Then I connect 230v/110v transformer in UPS output ( transformer secondary no load connected ).
Now UPS output tripped and display fault indication.

then i removed transformer and connect hologen lamp 1000w UPS working well.

    Why?

    Thank you,

A transformer takes a considerable inductive current which could be the cause of the trouble.
A better configuration would be to transform the mains down to 110V and then use a 110V in/out UPS.
