Link not read, a little bit of history.

This all started when the lower cast of Indian people, I think they might be
Hindus, got bored with fitting more lights to their Ford Fiestas. Having
solved the rusty bumper problem with sticky tape and copydex they noticed
that the engine would die when they switched the lights on. Bummer.

Fortunately their dad rented a house next door to their garage to some
students and one of them was Pakistani who got drunk one night and painted
'Hip Hop' in 15 foot blue letters on the wall. OK... he was five foot tall,
like all Pakistanis, but he had a step ladder and the Muslim Doctor Indians
removed it from his beard afterwards. (It's a beard thing)

Anyway, the Hindu lads saw the writing on the wall and, rather than beat the
shit out of the Pakistani lad for defacing their dads house, they asked him
what this 'Hip Hop' stuff was. I think this response has something to do
with 'Having a Reason'. Obviously, because they had a reason to give him a
severe kicking, they did not.

Anyway, because he was a student he had some 'HiFi' and was able to play
'Hip Hop' to the Hindus and therefore we have shit loud music in cars.

Quite simple really......

Next week, Racism.

African Nigger and Indian Nigger stand on opposite sides of the street
whilst discussing the relative shade of colour of shit their skin has in
loud voices.

What a strange world......

I note that he measured frequency response, but not distortion. Seems to me
that there's a lot of air moving through a fairly tiny and rough aperture,
and air being air I'd expect to hear some consequences of that.

Whenever someone says that a system "reveals new details in the bass" my
starting assumption is that they are hearing 2nd or 3rd harmonic distortion,
bringing the low frequency information up into the midrange where it's
easier to hear.

I guess the good news is that the listening room - like Martin's car - is
surely too small to be contributing any resonant modes to the frequency
response measurement.

The bad news is that the hole in the floor will eventually fill up with
roller skates, soccer balls, and pets. That will affect the frequency
response.
