Hi,

I was looking at the data sheet for an IC (the MAS9180, at
http://www.mas-oy.com/archive/da9180.pdf, an IC for receiving WWVB time
codes) and it describes two packages for it, TSSOP 16 or SBDIL 20.

I know what a TSSOP package is, but what is SBDIL? Surface mount, or
through hole? Big like DIPs, or tiny like, well, TSSOP? Most
importantly, able to be soldered by someone with a slightly shaky hand,
or not? :)

Thanks,
Bob Alexander

It looks like a standard DIL package.

Looks like this manufacturer's designation for standard 0.3" DIL.
