I recently acquired a Rega turntable from the United Kingdom. This
turntable is set up for standard british connections. What do I need to
do to convert this to United States connections?

You have to give us a little more to go on.
Start with the model number

You want to run it off 110V and it is set up for 240V?
Is that the problem?

Does the mains supply go straight to it or is there an in-line transformer?

Me again.
Looks like some of them have synchronous motors
The UK uses a different mains frequency to the US. 50Hz vs. 60Hz
Here is a UK guy with an American deck

Hope it helps.
