Unindentify optocouple

    I need to replace some optocouple ( round shape plastic casing ). The
    optocouple which trigger a triac and control by a TTL IC, there are
    printing on the optocouple "MOD 725", i had desolder some good
    optocouple and measure both side with two output lead, the DMM show
    infinity in resistance,i could not figure out what kind of optocouple
    or any substitute on this type of optocouple.
    Dear members, can you give me advice on this question. Thanks and
    appreciate your help.

    30 or 40 years ?

    ** Probably long obsolete.

    The MOC3021 is the go.

    Its only 25 years old.

    Hi Phil,Thanks for your help, I think about 35 years, I will try your
    suggestion on MOC3021.
