Ultrasonic question

I have two neighbors that have dogs that bark all night.

Can anyone tell me where I can get a good sized ultrasonic generator that
will travel farther than the 23 to 50 feet that the ones available at dog
Internet sites have?

I just want to set it up, and zap them enough times to get them to stop this
madness.

I had the same exact problem and got one of these.

The problem was the distance @ about 50 feet. It will send the sound wave
but would not trigger at the distance since it needs to hear the dog bark
loud enough to trigger. Hence it needs to be closer but then you would be
trespassing. I did find that the dogs got quiet when I went out and would
aim and hit the manual test button. The problem was this would not train
them to stop. But they would stop for a while.

I did not want to tell the neighbor what I had so I ended up calling the
police and let them handle the problem. Down to one dog now and the
neighbor has gotten the hint so it is much better now.

Do a google search for "Barking Dog" and get a lot of info.

Thanks. A lot has happened since last week. We have engaged the local
zoning commission in a mediation hearing, and enough of the neighbors are
willing to be named in complaints that we can give it to the DAs office, and
they will at least be fined.

We went through all this last year, and the people took care of the dog for
a while. So, we didn't press on. Then they let the dog bark again, and we
were back at square one.

I want something that I can just hoist up in the air about ten feet high,
stay on my property, and give a couple of ultrasonic blasts that will make
any barking dog pay attention. The range has been the limiting factor on
this. We have only two offending dogs in the neighborhood.

I have found a speaker from a LRAD unit that may do the trick if I can
figure out the power source I need to hook it up to.
