Places like RS and Farnell have minimum order values, I don't need to spend £20 when all I need are a few capacitors, plus I don't tend to need 5 at a time, Maplins are expensive and have a limited range, just wondering where do you get your bits and pieces from?

    Thanks

Try ESR. Electronics in tyne and wear newcastle. Fast turn around no minimum order prompt ace service. I'm on the far south east coast and they've never failed me. Very helpful customer services on the phone as well.

    Or try
    cpc.co.uk, a part of Farnell
I buy common components from R.F. Potts in Derby (no website) or Bowood in Chesterfield.
Crcklewood Electronics seem to have a wide range of components but I have never dealt with them.

Best for low volume but limited range is bitsbox.co.uk.

Cheers everyone, it's good to have a list of recommended suppliers.

Yes cricklewood are ok as well, if ESR dont't have it (rare) then i've ordered from cricklewood, they are dependable , ESR is always my first choice bit cheaper and more components avaliable.
