Few people realize that Google also gives you hundreds of cool ways to
organize and play with information. Google has added many new features
and services to its expanding universe: Google Earth, Google Talk,
Google Maps, Book Search, Video Search, Music Search, Google Base,
Google Reader, and Google Desktop among them.you will find that the
original Google has more interesting than to search functions, waiting
for you to use .

For instance, it seems to have morphed into a spam-bot.

Goofy topic opportunity.. :)

How far have Earth broadcasts have gone into space so far?

Closest stars are about 10 light years away.
They're probably listening to all the gibberish from the 1990's.

The listening life in space would get a different impression of earth
if it got our internet info.
Question is: Does the internet get into space. Satellite bounce?

Would green blob alien see Joe Schmuck searching for porn?

Maybe a few packets. It's hard to "see" anything on the internet without
two-way communication.

It's a shame, because they could really improve Wikipedia. :^)

There are at least 11 stars listed at Wiki that are closer than 10 LY. :)

If he was real clever and could decode the internet stuff that leaks
out into space - I don't think there's much actual porn on the over-
the-air broadcasts.

And if he's a green blob, what could interest him in human porn?
Maybe he'd like the edjamakaishunal TeeVee shows about paramecia
conjugating, or hermaphroditic planaria. ;-)

Cheers!

ISS?
International Scouting Services?
Immigrant Services Society?
International Schools Services? :p
Ahhhh...It's the International Space Station.. :)

Neato...Green blob alien might get to see something other than crappy
tv shows like 'The Price is Right'.

I'd say television is less educational than the net.

Maybe, but the SPAM on TV is edible.
