TV Screen showing colour halos

Hi,
My JVC AV32WFP1EU has just started to have a problem with the display. As
seen in the screen snapshot (no channel, normally just a blue screen when no
tv signal) below are multi coloured rings. What is the problem with this
display? What is the proper term for this effect?

Bad color purity.
Could be completely dislodged shadow mask from being dropped.
Could be due to a close lightning hit going through the degauss circuit
magnetizing the set.
Could be a failure in the auto-degauss circuit that needs repaired.
Any qualified technician should have no trouble determining which problem it
is once doing proper diagnosis on site with the tv set.
