TV antenna aimed out window

If you installed a UHF TV antenna in your attic, and the attic had a
window which you could have the antenna aimed through toward the
transmitter, would doing so afford any benefit to reception?
Or could it make it worse (i.e. lead content in glass -- old house)?
Or neither?

Probably would not make much difference unless you have aluminum or
steel siding. Vinyl siding, hardboard, or real wood are pretty
transmissive at VHF and UHF frequencies.
