Sir 20024jtr . . . . .
Further define . . . . the sketchy aspect of . . . . .
Powers up but no output
Since the whole unit is just a saturable mode /regulatory power transformer with its primary winding on physical bottom and then a middle positioned parasitic central winding with its resonant winding and its associated tuning capacitor across it and then a final secondary dual 12VAC winding on mechanical top position, that feeds into two SIZEABLE heat sinked rectifier diodes.
For thermal overload protection there is being a Klixon, bimetallic thermal disc type thermal cut out physically mounted to and sampling the temp of the heat sink proper and being wired in series with the input AC primary winding.
SO . . . .is initial AC power getting to the BLACK and WHITE wires of the bottom primary winding ?
If so, then is there low voltage AC being across the heavy magnet wire windings inputs to the two diodes ?
Thats all there is to it.
