Does anyone know where I can purchase some 3 color LED's? I worked with
these once on a door control box and I cannot seem to find individual
LEDs I need for another project. These LED's have 3 wire leads on them.
One ground and 2 positives. If you put positive voltage on one lead you
have green; the other lead you have red and both leads give you amber.
Anyone know where I can find these?

I appreciate the link. The only LED I could find that met my criteria
was a retangular shape LED. I need to mount this on a wall plate and am
not sure how I would make a retangular hole. I did find some LEDs at
radio shack that were 2 color. You have to reverse the polarity to
change the color. The only way I could figure out a way to use those
was with the help of a couple of relays. I am trying to make this
circuit as simple as possible. What I am trying to do is give the
customer a simple way of seeing if their door is unlocked or locked
without having to go to the card reader or outside of the building to
see. I wanted to make a green led when the door was unlocked and a red
led when the door was locked. Do you have another suggestion to pull
    this off?

    Doug L,
I found the LED I was looking for on the sight you suggested. I
    appreciate it.
