    Hi guys.
I am currently studying bi-polar junction transistors but I have come stuck at how they can be used as amplifiers. I understand how transistors work and how they can be used for logical gates but I don't understand how they can be used as amplifiers. Any information on the workings of BJT's as amplifiers would be hugely appreciated.
    Cheers. Chick.

There are lots of tutorials out there, e.g. this one. Study it and you are welcome to ask if you need more detail.
