Hi all,
How do we calculate the transformer core area with out selecting the dimensions from the datasheets.
Primary Input voltage 565V, Current 175A, Frequency 1000Hz, and Core material is C-type Iron core material and Its magnetic flux density is 1.2- 1.5 T.
Designing it for 100KW and my aim is to achieve the secondary current more that 10KA and the voltage of the secondary is to be less than 10V.
By using the above voltage, current and frequency I have calculated the inductance value about L = 1.6mH.
I was wondering to ask you that how can I calculate the Area of the core with out selecting the dimensions from the data sheets.
Please help me with this problem.
