    Hi guys,

I am carrying out research at the moment and need to get my hands.on a transducer which is capable of generating low frequencies. At the moment, I believe I need to generate frequencies between 1hz and say 1khz although the lower frequencies are more important.

Does anyone know where I can source such a device?

    many thanks

    Welcome to teh forum.

    Please be more specific:
What voltaeg and currrent? What waveform (sine, square, ...)?
Do you want to build a simple circuit (like e.g. NE555 multivibrator) or do you want to buy a unit?

    Hi Harald,

Something capable of both square and sine waves ideally. Initially it will be along the lines of a 555 oscillator but we'll have to see how things progress as to what it finally ends up like. With regard to voltage/current i'm not sure as I'm not sure where this research will end up. Low power initially as it will be driven by the oscillator.

    I'm open to suggestions really.

    Thanks for your reply :)
