Hi Guys ,
Does anybody have knowledge on this Model.
Set wont turn on ...Just thumps in the Audio because
of the 2SC being shorted out.Q404.
Whilst in the home checking out this Model I came across
Q404 which is 2SC5143 (The Deflection Output) .
This Transistor is Dead short I have checked all around
and cant seem to locate why its blown.
Checking the schematic this Transistor apparantly
is connected to the Yokes horizontal windings.
I have gone over the PC board looking for dry joints
and I am hesitant to install and try a new 2SC5143.
Any input would be of help before I go ahead and install
a new one.
