Tingle from UPS plug when on backup

Noticed before when swapping the Jaycar "crappy" power meter to
different sockets that the *plug* of the UPS gave me a bit of a buzz
when it was chirping away in backup/no mains mode.

Obviously it's not going to be backfeeding its full inverter power
into the socket that it's plugged into, otherwise it would be
attempting to power everything (other devices on the power board, the
rest of the house wiring, ...)

Just curious what it may be, whether it's common or a cause for
concern.

you can fix this by adding another relay
on the mains side, fined a relay that runs on
a 240 volt winding from your electircal outlet
there not cheep sometimes, connect the mains
to the relay that added on its coil and to the open
contacts of the relay and connect the moving
contacts to were the mains go on the UPS board.
so when the mains gos off it cuts the the mains input
to your UPS, no leaks.
that leak can trip the safety switch on your house.

Normal and doubtless within IEC limits.

Don't bother. He'll be breaking electrical code already.
