Don't listen to that "genome" idiot.
The general specs from my GE SCR Manual, 3rd Edition (1964) is:
Min forward berakover voltage, Tj=-25C to +100C is 200V.
Repetitive peak reverse voltage, Tj=-25C to +100C is 200V.
Non-repetitive peak reverse voltage (<5mSec), -25C to +100C is 300V.
I would be happy to scan & e-mail the two pages from the manual on
request.
