I have a Zoom H4 that will not turn on. I have tested all three power sources(battery,ac/dc converter, and USB) with no success. With a multi-meter I have found power on one side of the on/off switch. I can put the switch in the "ON" position and I have power to the other side of the switch.
At this point do not know what to test next.
I have no diagram.
How can I test the display panel?
How can I locate positive and negitive in other locations on the circuit board?
Is there a way to test the (not sure of the name) computer chip?
I have no electronics background, but do have a mechanical aptitude and have wired three garage/ sheds.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
