Testing a Polyester Cap

Hi
Can you tell me how to test a 33nf - 300v Polyester capacitor, it seems that I can't test it with a Digital Multimeter ! .

You'll need a capacitance meter. Some multimeters have a capacitance measurement range. If your's doesn't have one, the only thing you can test reliably is to check for a short circuit using the Ω range. A good capacitor should show a (quasi) infinite resistance.

Sorry wrong Cap measured , it is just showing OL on the meter for this one ! .

When my digital multimeter says OL then it is set to measure resistance and the resistance is higher than 40M ohms which means the capacitor is not shorted and has no leakage current.
Why do you think this capacitor is bad?
