Hi All,

I am looking to try and monitor various pins on a circuit. The problem I have is I don't have direct access to the pins. They are enclosed and the wires need to run about 50 cm.

The following kit on RS is ideal:
http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/breadboard-jumper-wire-kits/7916454/

However they are too short.
Does anyone know where I can get longer ones? Or where I can purchase the black jumpers the wire attaches too? I could then possible crimp in place and add my own wire.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Hi, Thanks for the rep
Try here: http://www.technobotsonline.com/pre-crimped-wires.html

Simply buy housings of your choice and slot the pre-crimped terminal in.

Longer lengths only seem to come in female to female variety though.

Hi.
Thanks for the reply.
Female to Female is fine for me as i just need the wires to slot over a pins on a 96 way VME connector.
I cant tell from the photo if these will fit snug over the pins, do you have experience in using these before?

Thanks for the help again.

Somebody else will need to answer that question - I do not have one of those connectors to hand.

I think that the two are compatible, but I cannot be sure.
