hi guys. I'm after a bit of help with a past exam paper question which is question B on the attachment.
I have found the phase diagram i should be using but am still a little confused.
I am guessing that on the phase diagram
Ef is 11000V
V = 6600
and hence using cosine rule jXsI = 6230
I then assume that the stator reactance Xs= 8.7 + 4.35 but again im just guessing = 13.05
this would then mean my current was 477A which seems huge to me?
so what actually is an axis current? and is Xd and Xq the stator and rotor reactance values or what?
any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lee.
