switching circuit

hi can anyone please help
i need a switching circuit for a N/O non latching switch to toggle
between OFF and 3 other OUTPUTS(which will be 12 VDC relay coils )one
at a time

the CD4017 might be quite good for this, it is a decade counter.
It has ten outputs each of which become active in turn as pulses are applied to
a pulse input pin. Leave the first output unused to act as the off state and the next
three outputs connect via driver transistors to each of the relays.
the fifth output connect to the devices reset pin.
You will need some means of debouncing the push button switch or whatever you
use. Google debounce should give masses of advice on how to do that.
Same with driving relays.
Another thing you might have to consider, I think the 4017's state is not constant
at power up. so you might have to arrange a resistor capacitor circuit to apply a reset
pulse on power-up.

Are you trying to activate 3 relays 1 at a time in sequence?
