What's with all the replies from Europe, Australia, Africa,
Antarctica, and so on, but not a single one from Asia?

After all, the question was about switch ORIENTation! ;-}

For some reason, the two-button kind pops to mind when
I think of Japan - the top button sticks out and the bottom
one is flush when it's off, and when you push the top one
the bottom one pops out and the light goes on. Otherwise,
it must have been the same as the US, since I never noticed
otherwise. Thailand, Taiwan, and Korea too, as I remember.
