Hello all. Im 32 and have very little previous experience of electronics.
Ive always had an interest in electricity/ becoming an electrician but have never got around to doing anything about it.
My eldest son is 7 and ready to take on hobbys and i thought electronics would be fun for the both of us.
Im looking to get my head around the theory first, so me and my lad can have fun putting stuff together. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Peace.:)

Hey Bazzel
welcome to the forums :)

never too late to start learning electronics
A great idea for you and your son to share in a mutual interest thats cool. I did the same thing with my son, who's now 22 and knows more computers than me. but I still have the edge in practical electronics ;)

I see from the other part of the forum you are already having some fun learning about LED's batteries and resistors

I was going to step in but decided to leave it to Resqueline to keep you on the straight and narrow lol

cheers
Dave

Welcome aboard :). That sounds like a fun thing to do! I've got fond memories or learning electronics when I was a kid and it hugely shaped my hobbies and career in later life.
