I’m a student and soon I have to prepare my end of year show board. The idea for mine is to have eight photographs along the top. Now at set times (every few seconds) I want certain I photographs to be lit up in the set order that i want. Now i can’t be manually doing this, so i figured I need some timer of some sort.

Can you help me with this project by giving me some guidance?

    Thank you,

you could try using a Decade counter and a 555 timer in an astable circuit. if you dont know what im talking about, there two chips are incredibly easy to fit in a circuit
this will give you the ability to decide the order, and the amount of time the lights are on. :)

Thanks, how would I set the time on this?

Sorry this is the first time I've ever done anything electrical.
