Strange node Notation (clear circle)

Hello

I wonder if anyone can help here.

The clip below shows a clear node labelled 7 between R1 and R2

the only way this circuit makes any sense to me is if nodes 7 and 8 are somehow connected by an infinite impedence yet are at the same potential

Is this a strange, obscure notation?

IE does a clear node like this mean that all clear nodes are somehow connected by some ideal buffer?

Like I said, the circuit calculations seem to indicate this but Id like to get a definate answer. thanks

The nodes are numbered. I would think that this is where a voltage can be acessed. There will be a connection between R1 and R2 and a connection between Q9 and Cext

Are the numbers the pin numbers on the IC?

oh yes. that kind of makes sense. I guess the datasheet assumes they will always be connected which could explain it. datasheets are not always as clear as they could be
