Need one of these for fine pitch SMD work. The microscopy groups have
deemed just about all made in China to be crap unless they are Zeiss,
Olympus, Nikon or Lieca brands. Are there any favorable opinions on
cheap Chinese no-name brands used for SMD work?

The Chinese will build to any standard of quality you pay for. They
build for all of the major optical brands.

I use a scope that I bought from "The Microscope Store" in Virginia.
They advertise on the web, and on eBay.

The scope I have is a stereo trinocular zoom scope that is on a
double rod counter balanced boom. It is simply fantastic. It is
reminiscent of the Olympus Stereo Zooms, but a little bit different.
