Most coin mechs are simple on/off triggers .. Unless its one of the advanced
programmable type (which take multiple types of coins, and can give change)
older arcade machines used a pre-sized mech that would take only one size
coin, and had a momentary switch it pressed as a validated coin passed it ..
the output to the machine was simply a 2 wire set that closed when the coin
went thru.
Some more advanced mechs had 4 wires, 2 for the trigger, and 2 for an
electromagnet which closed the coin slot when it wasnt ready for coins ..
this helped as an anti-cheating method .. stops the coin-on-a-string method
If it has a couple of jumpers on it, they are usually used to set up
multiple triggers ..
Ie, set one way, it will send 2 pulses on the wires, per coin .. which
allows you to configure how much a game will cost ..
(so if you have a game board that req's 2 coins to start, you can set this
mech to work with only one coin)
