I have a similar motor (used in washing machines).
It has brushes and RPM more than 10,000.
I need a speed controller for it. I doubt if the AC bulb dimmer circuit will work.
What kind of speed controller circuit should be used?
You can get a Triac based controller suitable for Universal motor power tools for around $30 -$50.
Same as a lamp dimmer but higher current rating.
If you want one with feedback then look at the SuperPID site.
