Hello all. For some years now I have owned a Soundstream 2000d monoblock car amp. It has served me well. However it blew out 3 capacitors. The amps factory capacitors were (G-Luxon 2200uf 80v tw85c (m) 702p ) with dimensions of 30mm high by 25mm diameter wide and 12mm through board electrode distance. Size is an issue. I have two questions for anyone who might be able to answer them. I would like to know if a capacitor with a rating of 2200 uf 100v 105c, instead of 2200uf 80v 85c, could be used and would it be better, worse or of no consequence. The flexibility of voltage may improve my chances of finding a close size. The other question is, where can i buy them?
Thanks
