Sadly, I don't have a service manual for this TV, - so I turn to you guys
in hope of some advice. - The problems I see are these :

1 : Picture is blurry in the corners of the screen. Seems like convergence
is off.

2 : Size of picture (hor. and ver.) varies a little depending on the amount
of light in the picture.

3 : When the input is a stable signal, as f.x. the test picture from my
Grundig VCR, the TV seems to somehow "lock" on the picture, in an attempt to
make the picture more stable.
This function although results in every second horizontal line being much
brighter than the others, and causing trails to the right.

Does anybody know of some standard components in this TV, which always is a
good idea to replace ? - TVs of this age often requires a handful of
capacitors and misc. to be replaced.

Also, is there a service menu on this TV, and if so - how do I enter it ?

If anybody has a service manual, I'll be very interested in a copy.

Kind regards,

Some of the common faults are high ESR caps in the power supply and scan
circuits. With age many of the caps have to be replaced. With an ESR meter
these can be weeded out, then replaced.

By your description there are voltage regulation faults in the HV and main
supply. Don't mess with the service menu, the set should be properly
serviced.
