Sony N3 Scrolling Horizontal Lines

Hi all,
Have just worked on a Sony N3 with the typical CXA2043 deflection problem.
That IC has been replaced and previos jitter has gone but there still seems
to be a slight problem. There are fairly faint scrolling horizontal lines
that appear worse on the right hand side of the screen than the left. The
very left side appears fine.Tthe colour appears a little darker on the right
hand side too. Any idea's as to what could be causing this as im pretty
stumped at the moment.
Any suggestions appreciated,

Cheers,
Shaun

I would check for a high ESR capacitor in the power supply, on the CRT
board, or near the flyback. Check for any ripple on the power
supplies to the CRT board if you don't have an ESR meter.

Thanks Andy,
I have checked power supply, CRT and defelction boards for high ESR
capacitors and found none to be too bad. Instead of checking exactly what
the maximum impedance was, i just checked that none were too much above 2
ohms. found one or two at around 4 ohms that possably should of been a
little lower but dont know that would be enough to give problems.
Anything else i can try?

Cheers,
Shaun
