Sony KV-32S12 Turns off after warming up

You've all given me renewed hope for this set.

The model # is KV-32S12

I've been told by "professional" "reputable" repair shop (Yellow Pages) that
these sets have this problem and are not worth repairing.

My big question is - If it works O.K. for 15 minutes then can the problem be
so major that the set can't be fixed.

Something about an over voltage on the green gun that can't be fixed ????

You should call the Sony authorized rep for this. The set is worth to
service if the CRT is in good condition.

What exactly is the description of your problem?
