Sony CPD-201VS

This monitor has wavy lines on the top 256 pixels of the left and right side
sweep. I suspect its a leaky cap or diode in the sweep power supply but I'm
hoping that smeone more experienced with this unit can tell me the usual
suspect(s) and how to get at them

If it has the same chassis as the SUN monitor GDM20..... The primary cap
location was posted some time ago and can be found doing a Google Groups
archive search of this newsgroup.

Thanks for the reply. For the record, the CPD-201VS is the 17" Trinitron with
built-in 2.1 speakers and microphone. I'll check Google but what makes you
think its the primary cap?
