When I am working on a riddle. I use the thesaurus. When I am writing a riddle I use the thesaurus to find words that have the same meaning. I choose 4 words that will work, 4 isn't a fix number.

    I am high and low
    and everything inbetween

So, I changed high to noble, and low to depressed. Then I changed everything into nothing, the opposite. Then inbetween I changed to middle.

There are a couple of answers that could be correct, like ttl signal, but that isn't what i was referring too.

    UHF/VLF so Its frequency.

The main hint was one will solve this in time. one over time.

A riddle allows to show the reader that there a more then one answer to a riddle. Next time no limit on answers and but also will be no hints. So its game over. NO WINNER TODAY.

    Well, that's just silly.

To my mind that will break the number 1 rule; that once you know the answer, it seems obvious from the question.
