hey there seniors....

m preparing a solar tracking device that i have to finish within this week..
i have already completed the major portion...
plz see attachment...

bt i want to make two improvements...

1.)incorporate another two LDR's for season mounting...
2.)incorporate a dc to dc converter (variable duty cycle) for MPPT...

the circuit shows for a single motor and a single LDR ...

but ill be using 2 for E-W mounting and another two for N-S mounting..

all inputs will go into the controller...

but for MPPT ill be needing a DC/DC conveter with variable duty cycle...
something called as the PWM technique etc...
but i cannot get the circuit for this converter and how to implement this....
kindly advice...
thanx....

What are the purpose of the left and right sensors? Are they limit switches?

I'm presuming the IC is a PIC or some other uC.

I'm also presuming this is a school project -- am I right?

Does your uC have analogue inputs?

Are you now trying to add a sensor so this device can track the sun?

Why can't you use your uC to do PWM to control the motor speed (I think this is one thing you're after)
