what is the smallest Torx bit that you can buy?
cheaply?
in sydney preferrably?

(Yes, I have the cheap sets from Jasycar, DSe, etc. Need something
smaller).

I have been asked to look at repairing a Videolabs Flexcam and of course
it has these tiny Torx bolts on the head. Definitely smaller that T10.

Any yes, I am doing it more for curiosity value than an economic repair.

I'd have to double check later, but I'm sure my RS set has T8 and maybe even
T6.

you could dry wiggiling at them with a flathead ;) whenever i want the
magnets off a hard drive, I just used to put a large drill bit in my
dril and shove it on the screw, put the drill on reverse and lean
heavily on the drill till it forced the screw out. Then I started
using my grinder which was a lot easie, the vivbbration would shake
the screw out. then i bought a torx screwdriver bit set ;)
