Greetings,

This is the first of my questions about repairing these toy keyboards.
I had another thread but it was a different keyboard. This one should
be easier. I had actually repaired it by taking out a diode that was
near the power suppy area, which made it work. Then, it took a little
hit from opening a door and I believe the red wire which you see touching
the resistor came off somewhere. I've tried touching it to various
areas. I did see a spark come off but nothing else. It has an ac
adaptor jack in the back. The red wire isn't soldered on the resistor
it just appears to be touching it in the picture.

Any ideas where it might go?

Oh, here is another picture of the jacks from the outside so you can see which is the
ac adaptor and which is the mic input. I said first, I meant first with a photo.

It should go somewhere on the circuit board, like the black wire that comes from the same input jack. We need close up, well-focused pictures of both sides of the circuit board to be of any further help, unless you can spot the remains of the broken wire sticking out of the bottom of the board.

Thanks for your reply. The problem is that it's so short, and usually they give some length when
a wire is connecting from one half of the plastic shell to the next. I may have to get a new camera
to get better photos, but that would be great. I'll see what I can do.
