Hi, I am working on a video camera tally light system, which uses basic contact closure to turn on/off indicator lights to show which camera is live. I have most of the system working correctly. However, my hang up is trying to operate two devices, a camera and a monitor from one contact closure point. As the devices send low voltage to the closure. you obviously cant send two voltages from two devices. My thought was to use a relay to make a second closure point. However, there is not a standard voltage that the devices send. They range from 5vdc to 24vdc. So I would need a relay that's coil voltage would operate between 5vdc-24vdc. Or maybe regulate the voltage coming in to a fixed amount for the relay coil. Any suggestions out there?
